Petra tour and Jerusalem stay

Booked a combined Petra and Wadi Rum tour with a few nights at the Jerusalem hostel. The booking process online was straightforward, and I received clear confirmation emails. The Jerusalem hostel itself was clean and comfortable; I opted for a mixed dorm, and it was spacious enough. Linens were provided, which is always a plus. The tour to Petra and Wadi Rum was the highlight. Everything was arranged, from border crossings to guides, and it ran smoothly with no major hiccups, though the bus could have used better AC on the way back. The guides were knowledgeable. Breakfast at the hostel was a good spread. I also used the luggage storage service, which was convenient on my last day. Overall, a solid experience for both accommodation and the tour package.

Nazareth hostel was fine.

Stayed in a private room at Nazareth hostel. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was included and decent. Check-in was quick. No issues during my short stay. Good base for exploring the area.

Consistent Tel Aviv stay

I've stayed at Abraham Hostels in Tel Aviv a few times now, and this last visit for a private room was just as good as the others. The atmosphere is always lively, and the staff are helpful. It's nice knowing what to expect, and they always deliver. The breakfast buffet is still a great start to the day.

Good hostel, minor tour issue

My recent stay at the Jerusalem hostel was mostly positive. The mixed dorm was clean, and the location is fantastic for exploring the city. I also booked the Masada Sunrise tour through them, which was well-organized. My only minor gripe was that the pickup for the tour ran about 15 minutes late, which made for a slightly rushed start. Overall, good value for money, but tour punctuality could be a touch better.

Easy Eilat trip

Just got back from Eilat. Stayed at Abraham and it was chill. Booked a female-only dorm, which was super clean. The bar downstairs was fun for drinks in the evening. Didn't do any tours this time, just wanted to relax by the pool. Everything was easy, from checking in to checking out. Would definitely go back if I'm in Eilat again.

Are the private rooms at the Jerusalem hostel decent? Like, do they have their own bathroom or is it shared even in a private room?

A Ashley Thompson 20 hours ago
Some private rooms have en-suite bathrooms, some don't. You gotta check the specific room description when you're booking. It'll say if it has a private bath.

I stayed in a private room in Tel Aviv and it had its own bathroom. I think it depends on the hostel and the room type you pick. Just read the details carefully.

Does anyone know if Abraham Hostels does discounts for just staying a while? Like, not a specific long-term program but just a longer booking?

I Ian W. 3 weeks ago
I think they usually do, yeah. I got a discount for staying over five nights in Tel Aviv last fall, like 15% off I think. It was automatic when I booked.

J Josh Moore 2 weeks ago
Yeah, they have a 'long stay discount' policy. It's usually around 10-20% for bookings over a certain length. You should see it apply during checkout.

Quick question about check-in. My flight gets in super early, like 6 AM. Can I check in that early or do I have to wait until afternoon?

S Stephanie Walker 3 weeks ago
Check-in is usually in the afternoon, like 3 PM or something. But they almost always have luggage storage, so you can drop your stuff and go explore. That's what I did.

Standard check-in is typically later in the day, but you can usually leave your bags at reception. Doesn't hurt to ask if you can get in earlier, but don't count on it being guaranteed.

So, I want to book a hostel room AND a tour, like Dead Sea. Can I use a promo code for the room and then also get a 'tour and stay' bundle deal? Or is it one or the other?

L Leah 3 weeks ago
Nah, usually you can't combine discounts. If you have a specific promo code, it's probably best to use that OR go for the bundle, whichever saves you more. They usually apply to the base rate.

Yeah, pretty sure their system only lets you use one discount at a time. I tried to stack a student discount with an early bird thing once and it didn't work. Ended up just using the student one.

Hey, thinking about booking the Petra and Wadi Rum tour with Abraham Hostels. Is it like, legit and safe? Never done a tour like that before.

E Elizabeth Anderson 1 week ago
Yeah, totally legit. Did their Masada sunrise tour last year and it was super organized. Guides were great and everything felt really safe.

I went on their West Bank tour a couple years ago. They focus a lot on ethical sourcing and responsible tourism, so I wouldn't worry about it being sketchy. They're a pretty well-known company there.
